Seychelles is an island nation in the Indian Ocean, located east of mainland Africa and northeast of Madagascar, known for its stunning beaches and coral reefs. This archipelago of about 115 islands is part of the African continent geographically but lies far offshore, with its capital, Victoria, on the largest island, Mahé.  Today the economy in Seychelles has evolved from agriculture to tourism. 

Language: The official languages of Seychelles are Seychellois Creole, English, and French, with Creole being the most commonly spoken daily language, a French-based patois reflecting the nation's history, alongside French and English for government, commerce, and education.  

Currency: Seychelle's local currency is the Seychellois Rupee, however US dollars can sometimes used for major tourist expenses like hotels, car rentals, and tours. you can use credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) extensively in Seychelles at hotels, resorts, larger shops, and for major tourist expenses like car rentals, but you'll need cash (Seychelles Rupees or USD/EUR) for small vendors, markets, beach snacks, and some taxis, as card acceptance isn't universal for small transactions. Major cards work well in tourist areas, and ATMs are available on main islands, though some fees might apply for withdrawals.

3. Return/Onward Ticket: Proof of your departure.

4. Accommodation: Confirmed bookings (hotel, guesthouse, or invitation letter).

5. Sufficient Funds: Proof you can support yourself (approx. $150/day).

6. Health Insurance: Valid travel/health insurance covering potential costs.

7. Yellow Fever Certificate: Only if arriving from a country with Yellow Fever risk.
